114 MPH on a Pontoon Boat + Video

Pontoon boats have long been a favorite for family fun on the water, but rarely do they bring fantasies of high performance to mind. That might change after seeing this video.

According to the YouTube description, this owner/driver Brad Rowland piloted this pontoon boat to a top speed of 114 mph. We cannot confirm whether or not this is true, but it certainly rips across a lake unlike any other pontoon we’ve ever seen before.

We’d say the driver was smart to remove his Bimini top before going wide open throttle. He may have gone for the world’s worst paragliding trip otherwise.
