The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, or FLIBS as it’s more widely known, is the largest in-water boat show in the world with more than 1,000 boats on display. It’s also among the most international, at least in North America, with manufacturers from 52 different countries exhibiting this year. You name it – at FLIBS you can find it all, from inflatables to superyachts.

Held at multiple locations in Fort Lauderdale from October 26 through 30, the 2022 FLIBS is looking like the best yet. Here’s just a peek at some of the newest models that will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Galeon 375 GTO

Polish yacht builder Galeon plans to have its new 375 GTO – short for Grand Touring Outboard – in the water at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show making its first show appearance in North America. Building on the success of the company’s 325 GTO, the new boat brings more of everything in a sporty, capable hull that can still run in the range of 90 km/hr.

Highfield Sport 900

Highfield Sport 900

Making its North American debut at FLIBS is the all-new Sport 900 inflatable from Highfield Boats. The 9.1-metre flagship features a new, high-performance 26-degree-deadrise hull with welded lift stakes for speeds of up to 60 mph when powered by twin 300 horsepower outboards. The helm console has space for two 30cm multifunction displays to aid navigation, while the bow seating area converts to a large sun lounge complementing the additional sunpad aft.

Ocean Alexander’s stunning 28E makes its North American debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, bringing explorer yacht capability and five-star luxury. Equipped with five opulently appointed staterooms, a massive stern beach club, a huge upper cockpit with a hot tub and a penthouse-style skylounge, this is one luxury yacht that’s sure to please even the most discriminating tastes.

Making its US debut at FLIBS is the stunning Sanlorenzo SP110, a hydrojet-powered sports yacht that’s the first model in the fabled Italian builder’s new SP (Smart Performance) line-up. With space for up to eight guests being spoiled by a 5-person crew, the twin-deck SP110 will get to its destinations quickly thanks to its triple 2,000-horsepower MAN V12s.

Making its US debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will be Sunseeker’s brilliant new 88 Yacht, which features Sunseeker’s expansive beach club accessed by dual sweeping staircases featuring recessed LED lighting. Powered by twin MTU 10v 2000’s as standard or twin MTU 12v 2000’s as an option, the 88 Yacht accommodates eight guests and four crew in complete luxury and comfort while reaching speeds of up to 28 knots.
