SVP Yachts Now Accepting Bitcoin Payment

SVP Yachts has announced the company will now accept Bitcoin digital currency as a form a payment for its Greenline, Shipman Carbon and L30 yachts.

SVP joins a growing list of multinational corporations such as Ferrari, Tesla and Microsoft to accept the cryptocurrency as payment. Although a number of yacht brokers already accept the Bitcoin currency, SVP is believed to be the first boat builder to do so.

“As our company strives towards technological development on the sustainability of powering our leisure time on the water, we also follow and encourage technological development and disruption in other industries,” said SVP Yachts CEO Vladimir Zinchenko. “Financial markets are experiencing a revolution and we believe in the principals of this truly disruptive technology. That is why we will be accepting Bitcoin as payment for orders.”
