BRP has unveiled a pair of new additions to its Evinrude outboard line-up for 2016, including two new E-TEC jet drive outboards and the return of the popular Evinrude E-TEC 115 H.O.
The new jet drive outboards, available in 60 and 105 horsepower configurations, provide the ability to operate in extremely shallow water, and are preferred by boaters who frequently run shallow rivers and lakes. The company says this outboard line goes where no propeller can go.
“We will continue to deliver the Power of Choice to boaters in 2016, as a direct response to consumer demand,” said Alain Villemure, vice-president and general manager of BRP’s Marine Propulsion Systems division. “These exciting additions provide our customers with even more choice and opportunity to experience the Evinrude brand.”
Returning to the lineup by popular demand, the Evinrude E-TEC 115 H.O. outboard delivers the signature H.O. power and performance in a compact package. Villemure notes the engine offers clean and quiet operation, durability, reliability, excellent fuel economy and low maintenance.
For the 2016 model year the compact and convenient Evinrude portable line-up, ranging from 3.5 to 15 hp, will now be offered in metallic graphite paint to better match the most popular boat designs, as well as larger Evinrude E-TEC engines they are often paired with as kicker engines.
